Dry Space Under Your Deck
Under-Deck Ceilings That Keep the Patio Below Dry
Turn the space under your deck into a dry, finished room outside. We install OtterTite DrySpace aluminum under deck systems that catch water, hide the framing, and drain it all away.
Stay dry in the rainA second outdoor room, right under your deck
Without a ceiling, rain drips through every board gap, and the space under a raised deck becomes a home for spider webs and wasp nests. An under deck system catches that water between the joists and carries it to a gutter and downspout, so the patio below stays dry.
We install OtterTite DrySpace by Otter-Tech: heavy duty 12 inch aluminum panels with a baked on finish that will not sag, rot, or rust. It is the clean, finished ceiling that makes the space below feel like part of the house, with room for lights, fans, and speakers.
OtterTite DrySpace Under Deck System
Pick a finish to match your deck and home. Every system includes panels, pitching rails, and a gutter to carry the water away.

Aluminum panels install below the deck joists on pitched rails, so water runs to the outer edge into a gutter and downspout. Dual strength channels keep the ceiling from sagging, and the baked on finish stays clean for years.

Why homeowners pick DreamDecks for dry spaces
Planned with your deck
We pitch the system and place the gutter and downspout before the ceiling goes up, so water goes where it should.
Lights, fans, and sound
We plan wiring for recessed lights, ceiling fans, and speakers so the space below feels finished.
In house crew
The same DreamDecks crew that builds your deck installs the ceiling. No subcontractors, no handoffs.
New or existing decks
We can add a dry space to a new build or to a deck that is already standing.
Under-Deck Protection FAQ
Can you add an under deck ceiling to an existing deck?
Yes. The system installs below your existing joists, so we can add it to most raised decks, including ones we did not build.
Will an under deck system rot my deck?
No. The system is designed to shed water away from the framing, and it leaves airflow around the joists. We also recommend joist tape on new builds.
What colors are available?
OtterTite DrySpace comes in White, Clay, Tan Timber Woodgrain, Brown Timber Woodgrain, Cocoa Brown Frost, and Bronze Slate Frost.
Can I add lights and a fan?
Yes. We plan wiring before the ceiling goes up so you can add recessed lights, fans, heaters, and speakers.
How long does install take?
Most dry spaces are installed in one to three days depending on size, stairs, and any electrical work.
