One Vision, Many Trades
For this project, we assembled a proven team of specialists: plumbers, electricians, masons, landscapers, and concrete crews. By managing every contractor under one vision, we ensured the work didn’t just meet expectations — it flowed together into a single, cohesive backyard environment.
Designed with Precision — 3D Renderings by Avid Transformations
Before breaking ground, we partnered with Avid Architects to produce architectural plans and Vesta Design to produce full 3D renderings and . These visuals gave the homeowner a crystal-clear view of the final design, from the roofline of the pavilion to the footprint of the pickleball court. That meant every trade had exact specifications, and we could build with zero guesswork.
Pickleball Court and Concrete Slab — Fallen Contracting
The transformation started with demolition and groundwork. Working with J Allen Contracting, we tore out the old stamped concrete under the existing pavilion and poured a brand-new slab to match the new layout. We also installed a full pickleball court, prepped and finished to regulation standards, so the space was ready for immediate use.
Landscaping by Rohr’s Nursery & Landscaping
Once the concrete was in place, Rohr’s Nursery & Landscapingrefreshed the entire surrounding yard. They added nature-scaping around the pickleball court, installed premium mulch beds, and planted grass in areas impacted by construction access — tying the new hardscape seamlessly into the existing property.
Pavilion Framing and Finishing — The Heart of the Build
This was the stage where the DreamDecks crew truly made their mark. The 24′ x 21′ gable-style pavilion extension was built entirely by our in-house team, tied seamlessly into the existing pool house so it looked like it had always been there.
We started with helical pier installation to anchor the structure deep below the frost line for unmatched stability. From there, we framed the pavilion with 6×6 pressure-treated posts and engineered LVL beams, carrying the load for the expansive open space below. Every cut was made on site, every post set plumb, every beam locked in with precision so the roofline matched the original structure perfectly.
For the ceiling, we installed Versatex Canvas Series WP4 in Natural Amber, a rich, wood-look material that’s durable enough to handle Ohio weather without the maintenance of natural wood. Posts and beams were wrapped in Versatex Turner Brown trim boards, delivering clean, sharp lines and a polished look.
We then handed it off to the masons, who wrapped the new columns in stone veneer to match the existing pavilion, topping each with custom-cut stone caps. By the time we were done, the pavilion was more than a cover — it was a focal point of the backyard, built to stand the test of time and look incredible doing it.
Electrical, Lighting, and Audio
Our electrical installation included a panel upgrade, outlets, recessed LED ceiling lights, ceiling fans, and an electric Bromic ceiling heater for year-round comfort. For entertainment, we wired six Yamaha outdoor speakers with a full surround-sound setup, ensuring the space sounds as good as it looks.
Outdoor Kitchen and Bar
We built a 15′ x 15′ U-shaped bar with a 42″ high top, framed and finished with PVC trim, ready for the customer’s Bliss Cabinets and solid surface countertops. The layout maximizes seating and prep space while keeping the pavilion open for gatherings.
Privacy and Finishing Touches
To hide pool equipment and maintain the resort feel, we installed a 6′ Adobe vinyl privacy fence. These finishing details gave the backyard a complete, polished look — ready for entertaining day or night.
The Finished Space
Now complete, the Warren family has a two-story outdoor retreat that’s perfect for summer cookouts, quiet mornings with coffee, or watching the sunset over the pond. It’s a space built for every season, with the durability to last for decades.
